MT Integraalhelmen|Helmen Met Zonnevizier-Thunder 4 V i at Zwart

Affordable full-face helmet with ECE 22.06 certification

The Thunder 4 SV from MT Helmets is a very affordable full-face helmet with a good fit. The helmet is one of the first full-face helmets tested according to the new ECE 22.06 certification, which is very special for the price. This sporty helmet from MT has a spoiler at the rear, which makes the helmet more stable at higher speeds. In terms of ventilation, this helmet is also well-equipped, with multiple inlets at the front and a large outlet at the back. For safety, the helmet features the Emergency Release System, allowing you to easily remove the cheek pads in case of an accident.

In addition to all of the above, the MT Thunder 4 SV also has an integrated sun visor, which is easy to operate with gloves on. The price-quality ratio of this sporty full-face helmet is very high.

Will the MT Thunder 4 SV fit in my under-seat storage?

The MT Thunder 4 SV full-face helmet has a relatively large helmet shell, which means it often does not fit easily under the seat of the scooter, with some exceptions. This storage space is also known as a “buddy seat”.

Mandatory national helmet law from January 1, 2023

According to the Dutch government, there are annually many casualties among scooter riders in traffic. Therefore, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to wear an approved helmet on mopeds and scooters. This MT full-face helmet of course meets the ECE requirements and is thus deemed safe for use on these vehicles. The helmet is even approved for potential use on a motorcycle. However, considering the significantly higher speeds, we always recommend a motorcycle helmet for motorcycle use.
